Does your resume have a generic objective statement or a circuitous quote on it? if you think that this would add depth to your resume then you are wrong. The recruiters are aware that the resume is written for job targeting and you have the experience and skills for your particular role. You need to stand out of the crowd by replacing the objective reader statement with the qualifications based statement or the introduction that highlights the reader about what you are planning to offer their organisation.
Never add this to your resume. There is no need to mention your hobbies and interests if it is not relevant to your job application. Space on the resume is at a premium so try to save space for the pertinent information and then use it wisely.
Having a gap in history always creates a negative reflection about your work especially in India. There might be many reasons for a gap but the tendency is to think otherwise. The shorter the work gap it is better. Also, always be honest during face to face conversation.
Every job you have ever had
The past experiences of your career can be collated with one line per job showing employer name, job title and dates. Try not to display every job you have ever you have done. There are chances that the last five work experiences may only be considered while shortlisting your resume. Remember, not the quantity but the quality of work done is all that matters.
Any demand for pre-hand salary or the expectation on the resume can be seen as too bothersome by the employer and you might get rejected on that basis. Few things can also be carried away in a smart manner.
If you happen to follow these things carefully, you will end up in the best organisation with a good job.
