WhatsApp has started rolling out its updates for the Android beta app which has brought a new feature Android Private Reply.
With this new functionality, the users can privately send messages to various users within a group without letting others in the same group know.
The Android beta testers can make use of this particular feature. This feature has arrived for Android users with beta version 2.18.355. Notably, the update appears to come with a few bugs as well. The latest version of the app reportedly crashes while deleting media files from a group.

Last year in the month of December, WhatsApp has rolled out the ‘Reply Privately’ feature in the beta update for the Windows Phone. The feature was found to have appeared and was subsequently dropped from the beta version of WhatsApp.
Although, it was speculated that the feature could roll out soon. After almost a year, this messaging application is getting the featurr which is called as Private Reply.
Whenever you are chatting in a group and you feel the urge to reply someone in the group privatly to a particular message that only the sender of the message can see and not everyone in the group, this feature will come in handy.
For using the WhatsApp Private Reply feature, you need to hold the message of the sender to which you want to reply privately.
Further tap on the three-dotted menu on the top right corner of the app. Here, you will get the Private Reply option.
After you choose the option, the message which you have selected will open privately in the chat window of the sender in the form of the reply thread.
If you want to download the latest WhatsApp beta on your Android devicr, you must be a part of the official Google Play beta programme.
Another alternative approach for the same is, you can even download the APK file directly from the APK Mirror.
