Rajesh Magow also said that the experiences include various activities for the city dwellers those are not necessarily looking for travel but want some unique experience either within their cities or in other famous places in the country.

“We are adding experiences for local city residents like amusement parks, dining and spa options. For example, if you’re in Delhi but you are not looking to travel but looking at a few experience options over the weekend you will find those options. The idea is to build these and help the engagement and stickiness on the platform even more,” Magow said.
He added that “the company will market and promote them as standalone offerings and all the activities are available to be booked separately, but they will also be included in the travel packages offered by the company”.

All the activities are available to book independently but we will also bundle them with our packages. The thought that triggered this was to make sure how engagement on the app increases from a daily active and monthly active user standpoint,” he aforesaid.

Various travel platforms are even betting on growing the experiential travel market. In the year 2016, the home stay services provider Airbnb has moved beyond the accommodation with the launch of various trips those include the experiential offerings in the global cities like Tokyo, Los Angeles, London and Paris.
