Since its inception in 2010, despite every single controversy, Uber has grown up to the verge of becoming the largest cab-booking service in India and the world.

Now to push the game even further, Uber has joined the battle for millennial credit-card holders.

The underlying purpose might be to reach out more to super-rich brats and provide them with a fundamentally unique cab booking experience.

For this, Uber has partnered with Barclay’s bank on a new Visa card, which will be available beginning Nov. 2.

Uber has transformed the way you get around. Now it is bettering the way you spend.

-says an Uber official.

The company name has now become a verb rather than a noun as the very name is now used as in “Let’s Uber home“. It announced:

We’ve partnered with Barclays bank on a new Visa card, which will be available next month.

Customers can apply using the Uber app starting Nov. 2, get approved within minutes and then immediately add the card to their Uber wallets, according to the company. A physical card will arrive in the mail about a week later.

On the extra benefits’ front, the Uber Credit Card further offers:
4% back on dining
3% back on hotel and air fair
2% for online purchases
1% back on everything else

Moreover, there’s no annual fee. It also allows you to earn $100 after spending $500 on purchases in the first 90 days.

Denny Nealon, head of U.S. partnerships at Barclays, said:

Our plan is to eschew direct mailings in favour of courting Uber’s 65 million monthly active riders.
The beauty is trying to enhance Uber loyalists’ experience.
