Upcoming iPhones are called to be iPhone XS, iPhone XS Plus and iPhone XC. The price, images, specifications of the upcoming 2018 iPhones have been leaked. Apple would be launching the new iPhones on 12th September at an event at the Steve Jobs theatre in California.

The most speculated iPhone of this year, the budget iPhone X has been finally confirmed. It’s going be called ‘iPhone XC’, something like iPhone 5C. The naming convention has a C notion like Apple has previously done for a budget edition of iPhone 5.

2018 iPhone Models: iPhone XS, iPhone XS Plus & iPhone XC

There are going to be three new iPhones this year, and yes there’s no iPhone 9. All the upcoming iPhones are actually successors to the current iPhone X. The iPhone X also remains the highest earning iPhone ever. Coming to the successors, among the 2018 iPhone models, there’s going be an iPhone XS which will come with a similar 5.8 inch OLED display like its predecessor iPhone X.

Along with iPhone XS, the company will launch a Plus version of its iPhone X model. The iPhone X Plus model has an 6.5 inch OLED display which is rumored to be named iPhone XS Plus. This will come with better features compared to its XS version.

Now, coming to last one, the budget iPhone X or the affordable iPhone X will launch this year as the iPhone XC. It’s going to be similar as iPhone 5C, the budget version of 2013 launched iPhone 5.

Earlier the rumors suggested that the budget version of iPhone will see some downgrades in terms of hardware and imaging capabilities. Also, the affordable iPhone X was being dubbed to an iPhone SE or iPhone 8 successor to be called iPhone SE 2 or iPhone 9, but that’s not the case.

The latest report has revealed the images and official name which suggest that there is going to be no iPhone 9 this year.

The same also suggests that the budget iPhone XC will come with a larger 6.1 inch display, but an LCD panel instead of an OLED panel. The iPhone XC will come with single rear and front cameras, 3D face unlock, glass body, a notch on top of the display and an advanced Apple processor.

The budget iPhone X will be unveiled on September 12, but will be available from November due to tight production schedules.

2018 iPhones Pricing: iPhone XS, iPhone XS Plus & iPhone XC Prices

Apart from specs and images, the prices of the upcoming three 2018 iPhones have been leaked as well. The iPhone XS, iPhone XS Plus and iPhone XC will come at different price points. The iPhone XS with the same 5.8 inch screen from X model is going to come at a starting price of $1079, which translates to something around Rs 78,500.

The plus version, the iPhone XS Plus with the larger 6.5 inch display will start at $1225, around Rs 87,500.

Lastly, the affordable iPhone X, the 6.1 inch iPhone XC will come at a price of $860, around Rs 61,500. Though, Chinese iPhone analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted that the 6.1 inch iPhone is going to be priced between $600 to $700, under Rs 45,000.

All the three iPhones: iPhone XS, iPhone XS Plus and iPhone XC will be available starting from September 21 globally including India.

Dual SIM and Dual 4G Functionality

Telecom service provider China Telecom has leaked an interesting detail that the upcoming iPhones come with Dual SIM card slots. All the upcoming 2018 iPhone models will have 4G support including dual 4G functionality. The reports are still on the air, and we need to wait till September 12 to confirm whether Apple will launch new iPhones with dual SIM connectivity or not.

If Apple chooses to launch the new 2018 iPhones with dual-SIM connectivity, these iPhones: iPhone XS, iPhone XS Plus and iPhone XC are going to be the first iPhones to come with Dual SIM card slots and dual 4G functionality.

The three new iPhones: iPhone XS, iPhone XS Plus and iPhone XC along with Apple Watch Series 4 and a new budget MacBook will launch at Apple’s new campus in Cupertino on September 12.
