Karachi bakery On The Target After The Pulwama Terrorist Attack, The Name Of The Shop Covered

An outlet named “Karachi Bakery” in Bangalore, covering a letter written on his signboard ‘Karachi’ because a group of vigilant people was protesting outside the shop because of its Pakistani name. This incident has come to light in the wake of the Pulwama terror attack targeting Kashmiris across India, where the outlet employees had to cover a portion of the signboard.

After the Pulwama attack, there have been reports of attacks on Kashmiris in many places, now the Karachi Bakery shop has had to face opposition. In Pulwama attack around 40 soldiers were martyred and after that incident, there is an outrage of anger all over the nation. On Friday night, some people protested against Karachi Bakery. The police have said that employees of this bakery reported about this incident on the phone.

Bengaluru police confirmed this incident and admitted that they received an emergency phone call. At the same time, protesters claimed that Karachi Bakery is a branch of Pakistan’s outlet. After that, they started to oppose it and even asked to shut it down or change the name. However, the outlet is not shut down but its signboard has been covered now.

After the attack on the convoy of CRPF soldiers in Pulwama, 40 soldiers were martyred. Since then, there is anger in the country and protests are going on. The Pakistan-based terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed took the responsibility of the attack. People were furious over the name of the shop and protested about it. After this, the name of the shop had to be covered in pressure.

This bakery shop is quite old and is famous for its fruit biscuits. Karachi Bakery was founded by Khanchand Ramani. He came to India during the partition of 1947. The first outlet of the bakery opened in Hyderabad After this, its branches have been opened and spread across the various corners of the country.

Bengaluru police in an official statement stated that there is no news of property damage during protests against Karachi Bakery. The protesters felt that Karachi Bakery is a Pakistani shop. Nearly 20-25 people reached the Indiranagar “100 feet road: to protest against the name of the bakery. They started protesting there and commanded to change the name. After this, the bakery was forced to cover its name. After the Pulwama attack, there have been reports of threats to Kashmiri students in many cities of India. Many Kashmiri students have also been sued for sedition because of support to the attack.
