Flipkart To Bag The Exclusive Launch Of The 2017 Google Pixel 2 And Pixel 2 XL

Google has been on a slew early October and launched the entire of its 2017 line-up along with the latest and greatest flagship smartphone the Pixel 2.

While pre-orders had commenced earlier this month for rest of the world, Google announced recently that Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, will be exclusively available online on Flipkart.

Pre-orders of Pixel 2 will commence on October 26 at 12 am and deliveries for the same will begin from November 1.

Interestingly, though the date is delayed a bit for India, the window for the turn around time of deliveries remain the same.

Pixel 2 will come at a price of Rs 61, 000 for the 64GB variant and at Rs 70,000 for the 128GB.

Pixel 2 XL 64GB will cost Rs 73,000 and Pixel 2 XL 128GB will be available for Rs 82,000.

The Pixel 2 basic is five inches with a cinematic OLED display and will be available in hues of ‘Just Black’, ‘Clearly White’, and ‘Kinda Blue’.

On the other hand, the six-inch Pixel 2 XL has a pure OLED 18:9 display which allows users to create a full-screen, immersive viewing experience, and comes in ‘Just Black’ and ‘Black & White’. Due to a lack of infrastructure, there will be no colour customization option in India.

Both phones are fueled with Android 8.0 Oreo and will come with an exclusive always-on display that lets users see notifications on the screen at a glance without having to touch the power button.

Flipkart has also shared exclusive pre-order exclusive offers for Pixel 2, which include:

Moreover, Flipkart also commented that it has also planned to give away the Google Daydream View 2 to 5 selected winners of the social media contest that commenced recently on Facebook.

The Pixel 2 is the direct rival to Apple iPhone 8 and would take it head on when it hits the market.
