So, as the second business quarter is wrapping, we came up with the list of top 5 best selling mobile devices of 2017 till date.

5. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge

Samsung S7 edge sales declined as Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus released. However, with a decent shipment of 50 lakh units in Q1 of 2017, S7 edge still holds firm its position at the 5th spot on our list.

4. Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime

Until Redmi Note 4 happened, Samsung held the spot for the best selling mid-range smartphone in Q1, 2017. With a shipment of 90 lakhs units in the first quarter of 2017, it still holds the spot just below the Redmi.

3. Xiaomi Redmi Mi Note 4

At the first online sale, Xiaomi sold 250,000 Redmi Note 4 units in just 10 minutes setting a new world record. It has already been the highest selling mid-range smart phone in Q1, 2017.

2. Apple iPhone 7 Plus

At No. 2 position is the Apple flagship of last year, the iPhone 7 Plus which for the first time featured a dual rear camera set-up in a flagship smartphone device.

Apple has reportedly shipped 17.4 million units of iPhone 7 Plus worldwide. The smartphone sat upon a 5% of worldwide market share in Q1 2017.

The smaller and cheaper sibling of the iPhone 7, tops the best-selling chart with a total (massive) shipment 21.5 million units worldwide in Q1 2017. capturing 6 percent global market share.

It captured a good 6 percent of the global market share.

Now that Samsung Galaxy S8 is already launched, LG Q6 has been revealed and iPhone 7s or 8 lineup is on its way, we do expect an even more intense battle among the top smartphone brands till the year-end for grabbing the crown of being the best smartphone of 2017.
