As per the report from KPMG, PUBG India alone revived the Indian gaming industry. The same report also suggests that the Indian gaming industry will worth INR 11,880 Crore within 2023.
A related report from Kantar IMRB and the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) depicts that this industry will touch $943 Million by the end of 2022. This report is backed by POKKT, a mobile gaming advertising platform for smartphones.
The gaming platforms such as Fortnite and PUBG will remain in the scene. The raging popularity of mobile gaming among the millennials will boost the sale of smart devices with better processing.
Cons of PUBG
PUBG is no different from that of other games in terms of criticism. The degree of gaming addiction has reached a new level. WHO described ‘gaming addiction’ as a persistent behavior that recurs and insists a person avoid other interests and hobbies.
