Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 is the current line-up of devices from the HMD stable.

Now it is to introduce two new smartphones to the lineup:

One of them is expected to be the entry-level Nokia 2 and another device could be the premium flagship device called the Nokia 9.

The Nokia 9 might launch after launch of the Nokia 2 since the Nokia 2 is going to be launched in the coming few days and is special because of its budget-friendly package and Nokia trust factor.

The company is promising a 2-day long battery back up for this handset.

Imaging is taken care by an 8-megapixel rear camera which along with an LED flash is designed to capture low-light shots and record HD videos. On the front, the smartphone is equipped with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera which users can use for selfies and video calling.

At its heart, the Nokia 2 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 212 chipset and 1GB of RAM which might not sound enough but allows smooth and flawless sailing. Working on multiple apps to a certain extent shouldn’t be an issue either.

Both the smartphones have leaked in the form of renders and will help HMD Global compete in a segment that is already dominated by some of the mainstream brands.
