WhatsAppp has announced its new feature which would be rolling out to Android and the iOS users – WhatsApp stickers.
Rumours have been spread that this feature would hit WhatsApp for a while now and will finally roll out to Android users with the stable version of WhatsApp in the upcoming weeks.
Many iOS users have already received the updates about the same.

In its blog post said that “from emoji and camera features to status and animated GIFs, we’re always looking to add new features that make communicating with friends and family on WhatsApp easy and fun. Today, we’re excited to introduce a new way for people to express themselves with stickers.”

WhatsApp beta allows you to use upcoming features before they hit the stable version. You have to keep in mind that it is an unstable version, so you might see a few bugs every now and then.
After you update WhatsApp, you can find the stickers icon right next to the emoji and the GIF icons in the emoji menu. After that, you are greeted with three various tabs one is with your recent stickers, the second one with ypur favourites and the third one containing all the stickers.
There’s also a “plus” icon in the corner that allows you to add more stickers to WhatsApp via a sticker store. If at all you are not happy with the stickers those are provided by WhatsApp, you can create some on your own.
WhatsApp has even provided a complete guide on how you can do the same. This feature requires some amount of experience of Adobe Photoshop and some basic knowledge of image editing.
The resolution of this stickers must be exactly 512×512 pixels and should have the file size of less than 100kb. One can also make use of these stickers on WhatsApp Web after you update the app on your smartphone.
