The prestigious Forbes India 30 Under 30 list that rejoices inexperienced Indian achievers is out, and among the aspirants are co-founders of Perpule, who have shone in the field of financial technology (Fintech).
Fintech startup Perpule was endowed by Abhinav Pathak, Yogesh Ghaturle and Saketh BSV in July 2016. Pathak and Ghaturle were both beforehand operating at Goldman Sachs before launching the startup. Saketh BSV is a graduate from National Institute of Technology, Karnataka.
Perpule 1 Pay allows a customer to browse products, pay, and walk out of the partnered store without standing in the queue. The app allows one to scan the barcode of the product, and pay the store directly through debit/ credit cards or UPI.
The customer can also use their self-checkout kiosks set up in the partner stores. The verification mechanism at the end ensures zero theft and the whole process of checkout is likely to take less than a minute for a customer. Perpule 1 Pay claims to settle your shopping time by at least 80%.
Last year, the company received a seed round funding of capital of $650,000 from KStart (Kalaari Capital), Venture Highway.
