EMTEK Group stated that it has acquired a stake in Grab,Southeast Asia’s leading ride-hailing platform and software developer Ice House, according to reports.
Report says that EMTEK will be investing in technology resources development by buying 18.47% stake in Ice House Holdings Pte Ltd.

Grab offers wide range of ride-hailing and logistics services through its app in Malaysia and neighouring Southeast Asian nations such as Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand.
The company announces expansion in Myanmar for technology, driver care and local partnerships investment. These developments will bring the benefits of ride-hailing to millions more people in Yangon.
Following a successful four-month beta trial, Grab driver-partners have reported a 30 % improvement in monthly income on average. Currently, there are more than 5,000 drivers on the Grab platform. All Grab driver-partners have access to banking and financial services through the company’s partnerships with CB Bank and Wave Money.
Emtek Group provides personal computer services and evolved into three main business divisions such as Media, Telecommunications and IT Solutions, and Connectivity.
Emtek announced the restructuring of its media division in June 2015 by establishing a content holding company, PT Indonesia Entertainmen Group.
