An American Firm Offers the son of an Electrician a package of Rs. 70 Lakh

If you think so, then do read this which will surely boost up your confidence and your way of thinking. Mohammad Aamir Ali, the son of an electrician Jamia Millia Islamia is the only Jamia diploma holder to receive such a high amount by setting an example in front of us by latching on to a high package pay of  $100,000 in an American firm.

Ali, one among the six siblings have scored a good marks in the JMI school board examinations but was unable to clear the Jamia’s B-tech course for the ensuing six years. Due his financial constraints, he could not go for an Architecture course at NIT Jharkhand. At last, in the year 2015, he took admission for a diploma course in Mechanical Engineering. Young Ali then developed a theory to charge electric vehicles.

He tells, “Charging infrastructure for electric vehicles is a major challenge in India. I developed a theory. If I succeed, the cost of charging vehicles will be almost zero. But initially, my teachers didn’t believe me as it was a new area of work. However, assistant professor Waqar Alam finally realised the potential of my work and guided me. I made a prototype of my research and showcased it in the Talimi Mela of Jamia.

He later sent his expression of interest to the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Professor Zeeshan Hussain, director of CIE promoted the project at various levels and got it uploaded on the University website. This idea was so much appealing that an American Automobile Company, Frisson Motor Works, Charlotte, North Carolina. The firm offered him a job as a battery management system engineer.
