When BlackBerry was launched, it became the must-have phone not just for professionals, but for people looking for a change in phones as well. For a while, when competition from Apple and other smartphones did not exist, BlackBerrys were the most sought-after phones.
By 2016, the company started selling only 4 million phones on an annual basis and shortly after, production just stopped, bankrupting the company altogether.
