Ratan Tata, the famous philanthropist has been helping many startups by giving them financial support. He has invested his money in more than 30 startups in the country and some of them are the leading tech startups in India. Here’s a list of 10 startups backed by Ratan Tata for helping India to grow with innovative ideas. Have a look:

Paytm. Paytm has contributed a lot in making India pay digitally. Although other competitors have joined in, Paytm still is far ahead of others in its niche. 

Ola. Online cab service provider, Ola has helped Indians a lot by making transportation in the crowded cities easier. Started in the year 2010, Ola received funding from Ratan Tata in 2015 and is giving tough competition to its rival Uber. 

Lybrate. Lybrate is a very useful startup for healthcare problems. It connects patients with the experienced doctors in each field. Lybrate can do wonders for the person in need of a good doctor. 

Zivame. Founded by Richa Kar in 2011, Zivame is an online lingerie store which is changing the stereotypes in India. The startup got funding from Ratan Tata in September 2015 to expand its market in the country. 

Urban Ladder. Urban Ladder is a popular furniture selling startup. Urban Ladder got funding from Ratan Tata in 2015 and like most of the other startups, the funding was not disclosed.
