Medical Staff Treating Covid-19 Patients To Get Lodged In 5-star Hotels In UP & Delhi

The central, as well as state governments of India, are continuously fighting against coronavirus by implementing crucial steps. The Lucknow administration has also made proper arrangements and has stepped up preparations regarding the coronavirus.

At this time of pandemic crisis doctors, nurses, paramedical staffs are on the frontline treating patients and fighting against coronavirus. As the virus is highly contagious, they can’t return to their homes.

In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, the administration has decided to make four luxury hotels a quarantine centre. In these four hotels, doctors, nurses, para-medical staff who are in frontline fighting against coronavirus will get quarantined. This acquisition is made temporarily in these hotels.

The four five-star hotels in Lucknow include the Lemon tree, Hyatt Regency, The Piccadily and Fairfield by Marriott. The doctors and all other medical staff will lodge at these luxury hotels after finishing with their shifts at the hospital isolation wards.

Hotel Hyatt Regency and Fairfield by Marriott Ram is now for medical staff of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital whereas, The Piccadilly and Lemon Tree hotels are for the staff of Sanjay Gandhi Medical Sciences. Both these medical institutions demanded a quarantine centre for staff from the government recently. 

Earlier, CM Arvind Kejriwal had decided the same decision. He announced the accommodation of doctors of GB Pant hospital and Lok Nayak Hospital would in luxury Hotel Lalit. District Magistrate of Lucknow has stated that all the facilities will get provided in these hotels at the time of quarantine. Lucknow Commissioner Mukesh Meshram told that the district administration had acquired these four hotels. If required, other hotels in the region will also get converted into quarantine centres.
