Hyderabad Techie Working In Bengaluru Tests Positive For Coronavirus

The deadly coronavirus has struck back again in India. A new case for coronavirus is detected in a 24-year-old techie from Bengaluru. According to the reports, the person travelled from Bengaluru to Hyderabad on the bus. Since the deadly Covid-19 virus spreads quickly, the people he interacted with in bus are now under watch. The government is also trying to track down the other unidentified co-passengers of the bus.

According to Etela Rajender (Telangana health minister), the person is now admitted to Gandhi hospital after being referred from Apollo hospital. On suspicion of coronavirus, his lab results were sent to Pune where the Covid-19 virus got confirmed in the person. Moreover, according to the minister, around 80 people whom the person interacted with are under watch.

These people include bus conductor, driver, fellow co-passengers, family, doctors and staff of Apollo hospital. Moreover, the person returned from Dubai on 20th February. Due to fever, he got himself admitted in Apollo hospital on 22nd February. However, when the techie wasn’t getting well, the doctors in Apollo hospital grew suspicion over Coronavirus and transferred him into Gandhi hospital where he got tested positive for the virus. The doctors suspect that the person contracted the virus while working with his colleagues from Hong Kong in Dubai. The health minister has ensured that the government is ready to face the pandemic virus.

However, around 45,000 patients are recovered or discharged until now. The incubation period of the virus is 2-14 days, with 2% of the fatality rate, which is seen in most of the people aged 60 plus. The primary symptoms of this virus are Fever, cough and shortness of breath.
