Coronavirus: UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson Tests Positive

After Britain’s Prince Charles, British Prime Minister “Boris Johnson” is now tested positive with the Coronavirus. He has given information about this by posting this information on twitter.

The British PM wrote, he was experiencing symptoms in the last 24 hours and now have tested positive. With this, Boris has now isolated himself. However, he has said that he will continue to administer government along with fighting Coronavirus.

In the video posted on twitter, Boris is affirming that “I am now self-isolating, but I will continue to lead the government’s response via video-conference as we fight this virus.”

Coronavirus has infected 11,500 people so far in the UK, and 578 people have died. According to the reports, Boris Johnson noticed symptoms of Coronavirus and is currently in self-isolation in Downing Street. He got tested for COVID-19 following the advice of England’s Chief Medical Officer Professor.

Boris Johnson is 55 years old, and he became the prime minister of the UK on 24th July 2019.
