ASUS Introduces Its 2018 Republic Of Gamers Notebook Line-Up, Starting Rs 92,990.


Evolving its Republic of Gamers (ROG) line-up of gaming laptops, ASUS on Wednesday has revealed ROG Strix HERO edition, SCAR edition gaming notebooks and Strix GL503 gaming laptop, starting at Rs 92,990.

The Taiwanese tech giant also introduced ASUS Gaming FX503 notebook that will be available at Rs 69,990.

E-sports is gaining tremendous popularity in the country. The new series delights not only those who care about performance but also those who demand great aesthetics, thus enabling E-sports contenders to gain the winning edge.

With a desktop-style keyboard layout, N-key rollover and fast-actuating keys, ROG Strix SCAR edition feature Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 series graphics cards while the ROG Strix Hero edition features Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10 series graphics cards and runs Windows 10 OS.

It freights a 120Hz wide-view IPS display and a desktop-style keyboard with N-key rollover for fast, fastidious response to every input.

ROG Strix GL503 sports a keyboard layout inspired by desktop designs, featuring four hotkeys and four customisable RGB-backlit zones. It has an ergonomic 0.25mm-deep keycap curve with ROG-exclusive overstroke technology.

The device also possesses a thermal design that engages heat pipes and dual 12V fans to automatically regulate the cooling arrangement.

ASUS Gaming FX503 has Intel i7-7700HQ CPU and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics. The intelligent dual-fan cooling design lets intense gaming sessions run without throttling.

These laptops are supposed to take the likes of Alienware and Acer Predator head on and the company has thus claimed that this ASUS will be a major rage among gamers.
