A study found that women who drank one or two drinks daily were less likely to gain weight. The research establishes that the bodies of long-term moderate drinkers adapt to metabolize the drink more quickly than those who don’t drink at all or are occasional drinkers.

A study that analyzed over 2,600 men and 2,800 women in a span of seven years found that people who drank at least two to seven glasses of wine weekly were less prone to depression. But when consumed more than seven glasses a person is at a higher risk of depression.
