Indian startups might be in a very struggling phase. However, the founders of top startups are doing just fine. These Indian startup CEOs manage to yield admirable salaries.

Here is a list of salaries of some of the Top Indian startup entrepreneurs excluding their stock options.

Pranay Chulet

CEO of Quicker

India’s unicorn, Quicker is valued at $1.4 billion. It will be greatly expanding its services along with its present presence in various fields like automobile listings, matrimonials, and jobs. It also claimed many startups namely CommonFloor, Grabhouse, and Zimmber. Quicker’s CEO earns a salary of Rs 2.28 crore annually.

Vijay Shekhar Sharma

CEO of Paytm

He is arguably India’s top entrepreneur presently. Most of the e-commerce startups have been clumsy but Paytm keeps booming especially after the government’s demonetization announcements. There has been a hike in Paytm user base in the last few months. The CEO of Paytm takes home Rs. 3.1 crore every year. If you account his Paytm stake SHekhar’s net worth is over Rs 6,500 crore.

Ambreesh Murthy

CEO of Pepperfry

Pepperfry is the largest Indian furniture e-commerce company present. It has potentially raised over Rs 1000 crore and now wishes to expand offline with physical stores. Pepperfry made losses in the last year but the CEO took home a salary of Rs 1.17 crore.

Sanjay Sethi

CEO of ShopClues

One of the newest unicorns in India, Shopclues is valued at over a billion dollars. It covers the smaller towns and villages which become its USP. The CEO of Shopclues takes homes Rs 67.55 lakh a year and the co-founder Radhika Aggarwal earns Rs 88.55 lakh.

Bhavish Agarwal

CEO of Ola

Ola is in a constant battle to gain supremacy in cab services with Uber. Ola has managed to expand to more cities than Uber. Ola brought innovation in the services by providing an in-car entertainment system, Ola Play. The Founder of Ola earns Rs 40 lakh a year.

Deepinder Goyal

CEO of Zomato

Zomato has come a long way by completing a decade. It is India’s biggest restaurant discovery platform as well as operates food delivery business. It has expanded abroad and almost 75% of Zomato’s traffic is from outside India. The founder and CEO of Zomato take home Rs 48 lakh a year and the co-founder Pankaj Chaddah earns Rs 52 lakh annually.

Kunal Bahl

CEO of Snapdeal

Lately, the Snapdeal’s founding team announced that they will no longer take salaries starting February 2017 in order to facilitate the company to tide over its crisis. Snapdeal had layoffs in the beginning of the year. However, before this announcement, the co-founders earned Rs 1 crore each as annual salaries.
