This morning you woke up feeling unlucky, why? Just because you do not have enough clothes or proper attire for an event you wish to go to. For some of us, it is as easy as online shopping or paying a quick visit to the local mall for clothes.

But there are so many among us who don’t even have two pairs of clothing. Here is a story of a beggar who saved rigorously and with utter determination to buy his daughter a new dress, just to see her happy. Photographer GMB Akash shares MD Kawsar Hossain’s story on Facebook.

Hossain lost his right hand in an accident when the night coach fell off the bridge. With his amputated hand all he could do to support his family was to beg. It is heart-breaking when he shares that his youngest son asks him where he had left his other arm. While his daughter Sumaiya kindly feeds her father as she understands just well how difficult it can be to do everything without an arm.

Hossain saved for two years and finally took his precious money to a shop to purchase a new dress for his more than precious, daughter. As he handed the money to the shopkeeper, the shopkeeper yelled at him asking if he was a beggar. This disturbed the little girl. Tears rolling down her eyes, all she wanted was her father to leave the shop with her.

The day he bought her the new dress, he planned to spend time with her. Something every father can relate to. He wished to capture this memory of her wearing the new dress for which he borrowed his neighbor’s mobile phone. He is a father resolute to take more pictures by having a mobile phone device to save all the memories of his children. He considers life as an everyday examination. With all this destitution in his life, he still tries his best to educate his children.

Hossain felt proud that day. He felt like a King to his little princess. The immense love and strong bond between this father and daughter will leave you heart-rending. Of all the materialistic things in life, for once you will be grateful to have the relationships, bonds, and love existing in your life.
