BookMyBai.com a domestic help provider has raised an undisclosed amount of money in its pre-series A round from ARUN Seed which is a Japan based social venture fund apart from the other Japanese angel investors.

BookMyBai.com was founded in 2016 to make to easier for the working women and other ladies or those staying alone in their homes to help in their household chores.

BookMyBai.com is an online platform thrpugh whoch one can hire a permanent domestic help.

This online platform provides the clients domestic help in all the categories those include caretakers, Senior Citizen, Babysitters, cooks and cleaners.

The portal operates in total 5 cities including Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Mumbai and Pune.

The company is now planning to increase the marketshare in all these coties and is also planning to launch the operations in Delhi and Hyderabad.

The Cofound of BookMyBai.com, Anupam Sinhal  said that “We are also planning to launch a multi-lingual app for the workers through which the workers can look for a job in real-time”.

They have been able to impact the lives of thousands of marginalised women who are now earning enough money to support families. We see this as an opportunity to be able to support a startup which is not only sustainable but also has a large social impact amongst the rural households” said Satoko Kono, President, ARUN LLC.

Previously, BookmyBai.com had raised Rs. 1crore in the year 2015 from  50K Ventures which is based out in Hyderabad. The startup is also in talks with few India based Venture Capital funds for raising another $2 million.
