It feels obvious when we think about billionaires that they are leading a lavish life. Owning mansions, jets and yachts is all part of it. The billionaires earn so much that we think they might not be even thinking twice before spending some moolah. However among the whole list of billionaires, there are still several who believe in simple lives, generously give to charities and start foundations.

Here are inspiring billionaires who live a frugal life.

Warren Buffet

One of the wealthiest CEOs in the world enjoys living a simple life. Buffet still resides in $31, 500 house which he purchased in 1958. During his 5 minute drive to work, he gets a cheap meal from McDonald’s. He drives the same car for years and rarely changes them. He gives large chunks of his earnings to charity and once he also begged Washington DC to increase his taxes.

Azim Premji

Premji is one of the richest men in India who lives a frugal life. He pledged half of his stake in Wipro to charity. He ensured minimum toilet paper rolls were used at Wipro offices. He also ensured that all employees switched off the lights before leaving the office. He doesn’t drive expensive cars and takes auto rickshaws from airports. According to him, you will have little trouble with money if you work hard and live simply.

Mark Zuckerberg

The founder of Facebook lives a low key life as he is a strong believer in doing good for the world. He owns several versions of same grey t-shirt that he wears to work. He has started the Chan Zuckerberg initiative with his wife Priscilla Chan that focuses on education and healthcare.

Amancio Ortega

The Zara mogul lives in a discreet apartment building in La Coruña, Spain. His everyday outfit is a blue blazer with white shirt and gray pants and mind you, none is Zara. He eats his lunch daily in the Zara cafeteria with his employees. He drives an Audi 8 and goes to the same coffee shop. He once said that he only wants to be recognized in the street by his family, friends and the people I work with.
