Ayodhya Verdict To Be Heard Today

A five-judge bench of the Supreme Court will give its verdict today in the “Ram Janmabhoomi Babri Masjid” suit in Ayodhya. The bench consists of Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde, Justice Dhananjaya Y. Chandrachud, Justice Ashok Bhushan and Justice S. Abdul Nazeer.

Strong security arrangements have been made across the country, including Ayodhya, before the Supreme Court’s verdict in the Ayodhya case on 9 November. Along with this, school-colleges have been closed in many states of the country including UP, Delhi, Bihar, Rajasthan. After the decision, the administration is fully prepared to maintain peace and order and social media is also being monitored.

PM Narendra Modi made several tweets late in the evening and said that whatever decision of the Supreme Court will come on Ayodhya, it will not be a victory or defeat. The Prime Minister tweeted, “All the sides of the society, socio-cultural organizations, all parties have made efforts to create a peaceful and positive atmosphere in the past while keeping the honor of the judiciary of the country supreme. Even after the decision of the court, we all have to maintain harmony together. ”

CCTV cameras have been installed at every intersection of Ayodhya. ADG prosecution in-charge of Ayodhya security Ashutosh Pandey told that “60 company PACs and paramilitary forces have been deployed in Ayodhya for security. Of these, 15 Company PACs, 15 Company CRPF and 10 Company RAF have come to Ayodhya recently while 20 Company PACs were already stationed here.
