Amazon has debuted its subscrition based audio book service Audible in India, thereby offering access to more than 2,00,000 audio books.
This online retail giant said it has plans of adding more Indian and international audiobooks daily to the service that is still in the beya phase.
Users can also listen too these audiobooks with the help of Audible iOS or the Android applications or through Amazon Cloud Player on the Audible website.

The retail gain has also plans of introducing the locally produced Audible books those are narrated by the Indians, the person much more familiar with the ccmpany plans said.
During the launch time, the service offers fr the Indian and the international authors across the various categories those include fiction, sci-fi, fantasy, romance, mysteries, young adult, spirituality, biographies, business, and self-development.
For improving the discovery, the service even offers the curated lists like ‘Great First Listens,’ apart from traditional bestsellers and new releases sections.
There even exist a dedicated Audible Originals section which offers the audio books which is created by some most prominent story tellers exclusively for the serviceand is produced by the Audible Studios.
