Vijay Shekhar Sharma (Paytm)

Vijay Sharma is the founder of Paytm who was born in Aligarh in UP. The market value in 2016 of Paytm is over $3 billion. It was only a dream for him when he struggled to meet ends with just Rs 10 in his pocket. But more struggle brought him close to his dream.

Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal (Flipkart)

 

These two entrepreneurs launched a book retail e-commerce website in October 2007. They had, in the beginning, spent Rs 4,00,000 for setting up a business website. Today, their net worth is around $1.3 billion.

Radhika Aggarwal (ShopClues)

Radhika Aggarwal is the CEO of ShopClues, an online store. The headquarters is in Gurgaon, India. The net worth of ShopClues is more than $1.1 billion.

Saurabh Kumar and Albinder Dhindsa (Groffers)

Both entrepreneurs are founders of Groffers which is an on-demand delivery service connecting consumers with local stores. Initially, it operated on a B2B model but later started the B2C to cater to consumers directly.

Deepinder Goyal (Zomato)

Deepinder Goyal along with co-founder Pankaj Chaddah launched Zomato a restaurant information service. The idea of this search and discovery for restaurants was conceived when he witnessed the demand for paper menus among his colleagues at Bain, where he used to work as a management consultant. Zomato ranked as the top 2 startups in 2016 of India in the StartupRanking. It now operates in 23 countries which include Australia and US.

Bhavish Aggarwal (Ola Cabs)

Bhavish worked in Microsoft Research, Bangalore for around 2 years after his college. Bhavish wanted to be an entrepreneur and so he began with an online holiday and tours planning service and later began Ola Cabs in 2010. Ankit Bhati co-founds the company and Bhavish is currently the CEO of Ola Cabs. As of 2015, Ola is valued at $ 5 billion.

Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal (Snapdeal)

They started an offline couponing business and named it MoneySaver. In 2010, Snapdeal went online and today more than 200000 sellers sell their products on Snapdeal.
