Team Indus gets another shot at Moon Mission

It seems like India’s first private aerospace startup, Team Indus, stands a second chance for its lunar mission.XPRIZE has decided to continue its Lunar XPRIZE mission, with a relaunch of a new Lunar-focused competition.

XPRIZE is also seeking a new title sponsor for the Lunar XPRIZE competition, taking over from Google.

The Lunar XPRIZE will now operate as a non-cash competition. Over the next few months, XPRIZE will define new parameters for companies to compete.

Marketing and outreach strategy head of TeamIndus Sheelika Ravishankar that TeamIndus would be happy to participate in the new competition.

IRCTC to launch its own digital payment gateway

IRCTC is looking to launch its own digital payment gateway and this would result in seamless digital transactions. Around 1.2 crore tickets are booked on the ICTC website each month, and as of now, they have partnered with Paytm, Mobikwik, Razorpay and other portals.

The payment gateway is being called ‘Ipay’ and will be presented once testing is completed. The IRCTC plans to use the gateway along with the others, phasing out the latter slowly.

The back-end support will be provided by Delhi and Bengaluru based MMAD communications, which is the IRCTC’s technology partner.

Noida-based microdelivery startup MrNeeds shuts down

Micro delivery platform MrNeeds has shut down its operations. It used to work in a few pockets in Noida, Ghaziabad, and parts of Delhi through an app-based subscription service. The Noida-based startup started with milk delivery service and later added bread, eggs, groceries and other daily essentials.

The two years old startup had claimed to serve about 10,000 households in Noida and adjacent parts of Delhi in July last year.

BeatO raises $1.3 million from Leo Capital and Blume Ventures

BeatO, a healthcare startup for diabetic patients has raised an institutional funding of USD 1.3 million, led by Leo Capital and co-led by Blume Ventures.

BeatO offers a smartphone-based glucometer.Founded in 2016, BeatO currently serves 25,000 active customers in more than 1,500 cities.

The company said it is currently fulfilling over 5,000 transactions a month. BeatO intends to strengthen its technology and distribution with the currently raised funds.
