From the floor of the parliament, PM Khan asserted, “I am requesting the Indian dispensation to not escalate [military action] from this point. Because then we will be forced to respond and retaliate, and that will not be a happy situation for both nations.”

Referring to the cowardly attack in Pulwama on February 14, Imran Khan regretted that Pakistan was blamed within 30 minutes following the incident.

Some of the reports have suggested that the Indian Wing Commander will be walking back to India through the Wagah border during the afternoon and one of the officials from the Indian Air Force will be there to receive him.

On Wednesday, the Indian Air Force’s wing commander’s aircraft had migrated to Pakistan’s territory as the MiG-21 Bison jet when lured into an ambush and brought down by air defense systems. His plane crashed in PoK and he was taken in custody by the Pakistani army.

Significantly, on Tuesday, India has an atmosphere of tension between both the neighboring countries since the air strikes on top of terrorist camps in Balakot, POK. On Tuesday, a dozen of Miraj-2000 jets of Indian Air Force attacked terrorist bases in Balakot and crushed around 300 terrorists. Apart from Balakot, the IAF jets also made strikes at Muzzafarabad and Chakoti, which comprised of training centers of the terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammad (JEM).

JEM had taken the responsibility of the cowardly attack in Pulwama on February 14 where more than 40 CRPF personnel lost their lives.
