Nirbhay Thacker: The 16 Year Old Wonder Kid Who Completed B Tech That Too In Just One Year!

Every once in while comes one miraculous student who redefines the way we look at achievements and galore. At his age, maximum of his friends will be in school, san Nirbhay Thacker.

The lad is practically older than his age and in all good faiths. Thanks to his intelligence and talent, the 16-year-old from Bhuj in Gujarat has grown to be the youngest engineering graduate in his state.

The teenager was the centre opus of new stream media on Friday at the Gujarat Technological University (GTU) during the convocation ceremony at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar.

Thacker who enrolled for B Tech last year completed the four year course in a matter of just one year in October. Yes, you read it right.

However, his fast-track education began much earlier in class 8, when he finished class 8 to class 10 in six months and class 9 to 12 in the next three months, under the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) system run by Cambridge International Examinations Board.

Looking at this extraordinary phenomenon his father, an engineer, and his mother, a doctor, embodied his case as a special one to GTU, the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) and All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved his admission to SAL College of Engineering.

Every 40-50 days, I would appear for my semester examinations. I used to study for six hours and through meticulous planning managed to finish around 4,000 pages of six subjects in those 50 days.

Each semester was just the same with no exception in forms of any lesser difficulty levels or premature treatments. But the young rockstar completed his course with an overall CGPA of 8.23.

Now the young graduate has his eyes all set on completing 10 B tech degrees in the next three to four years. Well, we can’t frown at this seemingly exceptional and mammoth task for the lad is that brilliant anyway.
