Men Are Making These Face Wash Mistakes

Generally, men wash their face daily, to be precise in the morning, whenever the skin feels greasy or dirty, after coming home from outside pollution or in the night. However, the fact is 7 out of 10 men commit some face wash mistakes daily. It could be their choice of product, the frequency of use, or with how they apply.

Here are the face wash mistakes men are making which should be avoided immediately.

The face wash fling

The face shouldn’t be your weekend night fling. It means serious business by observing your skin, understanding your skin type, and then heading to get the appropriate face wash. Men with skin which is normal to dry should go for hydrating or creamy face wash. Men who have oily or combination skin should try gel cleansers or foam washes. A helpful tip, lather of the face wash should be frothy before use and not too bubbly.

Not caring for the water temperature

Acute temperatures will damage your skin. The water while rinsing your face should be just warm enough which means not too hot and not too cold. Or otherwise, you will end up with dry skin.

Quickly washing off your face

You hardly have any time do you, so you quickly rinse your face, lather the face wash and wash it off real quick. However, you need to let the lather rest on your face. Allow it to open your pores soften the sebum and do its job rightly. Then wash it off followed by applying some moisturizer.

Skipping the morning wash

You know you need to at least wash your face twice a day. You usually wash your face in the night before bed but morning face wash is equally necessary to get rid of all the overnight oil build-up and the residue of face products you use the night before like moisturizer or night cream or under eye cream etc.

Using too much or too less

So generally men buy an expensive face wash, use little amounts so that it lasts longer. Instead, men should go for cheaper cleansers and use a nickel-size amount each application. At the same time don’t empty the whole bottle in one go.
