From decades you have been opting for traditional kurta or a tailored Nehru jacket. However, the Indian fashion designers are well known to reimagine and they do the same for the traditional outfits. So let us take some insights from the fashion designers itself understand how to dress for this Diwali.

They suggest all men go for military-inspired silhouettes that have feminine drape details. Men can then accessorize with crystal, medallion brooches, and patched pockets. Some color blocking on hems and remember to wear slim fit trousers that have dramatic drapes.

Or adding a coat and pairing it all with a monk strap shoes. For a more effortless dressing, he suggests to go for linen jacket with a silk kurta and pairing it with casual chinos.

For him, Diwali is all about pure fabrics, soft colors and custom tailoring. He promotes custom tailoring and finding personal style this season. He asks to add leather sandals or gladiators also, consider this the right time to bring out the vintage wrist watches.

He asks men to embrace the kurta as it is the easiest piece of apparel to slip into. You look chill as well as traditional. But you can choose a length that makes a difference. Proper length and jeans with sneakers or even with a bomber jacket will make the best outfit. Or maybe long kurtas with shawls or Kolhapuris or Nehru jackets.
