Ayushman Khurana Pens Down His Thoughts After Winning 4 National Awards

The 66th National Film Awards have been announced and Bollywood actor Ayushman Khurana has won 4 National Awards for two of his films. His film ‘Andhadhun’ is also in the Best Hindi Film, Best Screenplay (Adopted) category. Khurana was in the lead role in Sriram Raghavan’s film “Andhadhun” and Amit Sharma-directed film “Badhaai Ho” and both of these films proved to be the best films of the year 2018. These films made the actor in the box office consistently earning well and performing admirably. After the declaration of the results, the reactions of Ayushman Khurana has come into light as well.

Speaking to several news agencies, Ayushmann stated, “I am happy after getting selected for this award.” Both my films ‘Andhadhun’ and ‘Badhaai Ho’ have won National Awards. This confirms that the people of our country want to watch the cinema that entertains them so that they can discuss and support it.

Ayushman also expressed his happiness on Instagram by posting a poem in Hindi. In this poem, Ayushmann wrote that when he first came to Mumbai, it was raining on that day, the way it is happening today. After this, in the poem, he also mentions his parents who bid him farewell with wet eyes when he was coming home to live his dream. Recalling his friends and his journey in second class sleeper coach while coming to Mumbai, Ayushmann said that these memories are still fresh in his mind.

While stating this achievement, Ayushman Khurana said, “It is a matter of great pride for anyone to win the National Awards. As an artist, I have always promoted such content which emerged uniquely. Today this award shows the recognition of my hard work, my faith, my film journey and why I became an actor.” For the movie Andhadhun, Ayushmann said, “I consider myself fortunate to be part of this project of Shriram Raghavan and wish him all the best for his director’s talent. As an artist, Andhadhun challenged me and I am sure that he has made me a better actor.”

When Ayushman got information about winning the National Award, he was shooting an advertisement at that time. He said that he could not get a chance to express his feelings. The actor said that after being selected for this award, he called his father who got sentimental. Perhaps there were tears in his eyes. His throat was filled with happiness. A family dinner was held the same night for celebrating his success.
