Here’s The Name Of The Best Selling iPhone Ever!

Apple’s iPhone 6 and its big brother the iPhone 6+ were the bestselling iPhone models of all time, with the iPhone 6 coming out ahead by approximately one-third.

These iPhone models have broken sales records since their introduction in early November 2014, giving competitors another reason to work harder for smartphone supremacy.

But barely three months after its release, the iPhone X has generated 71.5 million unit sales, far outpacing its predecessor, the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 6 series, by 30%.

The iPhone 6 plus now accounts for 40% of all tablet-style smartphone sales and is the second bestselling iPhone of all time.

iPhone X had featured plenty of what Apple was yet to until 2017 kicked in. It got an all‑new 5.8‑inch Super Retina screen to fill the hand, the display employed new techniques and technology to precisely follow the curves of the design, all the way to the elegantly rounded corners. Moreover, it had the first OLED screen that rose to the standards of iPhone, with accurate, stunning colours, true blacks, high brightness and a 1,000,000 to 1 contrast ratio. It also enabled the incorporation of Face ID biometric to unlock system that graphs your face to get the iPhone unlocked and removal of a Touch ID fingerprint sensor.  On the camera front, it housed a TrueDepth camera set up with 4K and full AR support to bring virtual reality to life.

The phone has been one of its kind and hate it or love it, it was different for sure. And as expected due to this huge lag in their workflow and product designs, people went crazy even when it launched for the mammoth price 999$ or Rs 120000.

The common thing between the 6 series and iPhone X is that both phones were designed innovations in terms of display and aesthetics, which threw away the conventions of previous gen iPhones. iPhone 6 premiered a 4.7-inch retina display to life which was then grossly followed by Apple in next-gen iPhones and iPhone X held a first-ever OLED display panel on its flagship.

Although the Cupertino, CA-based company tends not to break down iPhone sales figures by particular models, it’s estimated, roughly 222.4 units of this generation have been sold

That compares with around 78.3 million units of the iPhone 7 and 7+, making the iPhone X the best-selling Apple smartphone to date.

It is now nowhere close to what Pixel 2 has been registering on their dashboard, But, then again this never was the case really. Apple seldom competed out of its ecosystem- it has the king which gives no damn to the outer realms and registers to make the best of it breathes inside. So, believe it or not, and argue over it if that suits you, but when talking about sales, iPhone X is the best iPhone ever indeed!
